Job Summary
Production Material Handler in Building #2 responsible for distributing materials to correct locations, ensuring inventory accuracy through scanning, supporting multiple departments, assisting contractors, and maintaining safe, clean work areas. Uses forklift to move materials, coordinates with area foremen, follows production schedules and material tracking systems, and applies basic math. Requires 2-3 years of material handling experience and a valid driver's license. Flexible scheduling to meet production deadlines and tasks assigned by Supervisor; effective communication and teamwork essential.
Required Qualifications
- 2-3 years of material handling experience
- Forklift qualified and proficient
- Valid Driver's License
- Solid knowledge of computer-based skills (Excel, Word) and production schedules
- Ability to follow written and oral instructions
- Strong time management
- Ability to coordinate material deliveries to production staff
- Ability to solve problems in standardized situations
- Ability to work in a team environment
