Job Summary
Lead daily operations of the Off-Site Modularization (OSM) production, overseeing the assembly and erection of steel, strut components, and modular systems including strut cutting, bolting, and component installation. Drive safety, quality, and productivity by developing KPIs to track team and individual performance while managing project timelines, budgets, and resources. Implement continuous improvement initiatives to optimize shop efficiency and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety protocols. Foster a collaborative culture focused on mentorship and employee development. Present strategic insights and performance metrics to executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of experience in construction, steel erection, or modular assembly
- 3+ years of experience in a leadership role, managing production or assembly teams
- Demonstrated ability to develop and present KPIs to executive stakeholders
- Strong working knowledge of steel erection/assembly processes and quality control standards
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with off-site modularization or pre-fabricated component assembly
- Familiarity with strut systems, bolted connections, and related erection hardware
- In-depth knowledge of modular construction methodologies
- Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement tools
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills
- Experience with Operational Systems Management (OSM) or other production management systems
