Job Summary
Formulate long and short-range business plans and goals, develop production schedules, and forecast inventory requirements. Manage plant assets, staff operations to meet production levels, and ensure employees are properly trained. Supervise activities, coach subordinates, and evaluate performance to initiate corrective action as required. Establish work center efficiency standards, monitor output and yields, and manage inventory rotation and packaging. Ensure machinery maintenance, order supplies, and approve timecards. Participate in the Safety Committee and ensure operations comply with Federal, State, local laws, and OSHA policies.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of experience as production supervisor or equivalent
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office including Excel, Word and Outlook
Desired Qualifications
- Preferred bachelor's degree in relating discipline
- Preferred experience and knowledge on UFP's organization, culture, and product lines
