Production Manager

Oversee all second shift production operations to ensure daily production goals and customer deadlines are achieved. Lead, coach, and mentor production supervisors and hourly employees to promote accountability, teamwork, and high performance. Monitor productivity, workflow, and production metrics while identifying opportunities to improve efficiency. Partner with Quality, Purchasing, Inventory, and Logistics teams to ensure production runs smoothly and customer expectations are met. Address production challenges quickly by implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime and improve output. Support lean manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and continuous improvement efforts to enhance processes and reduce waste. Ensure compliance with all company safety policies, quality standards, and manufacturing procedures. Assist with employee onboarding, training, and ongoing development to build a knowledgeable and productive workforce. Prepare and maintain production reports, performance metrics, and operational documentation using Microsoft Office applications. Foster a positive, respectful, and team-oriented work environment while effectively handling employee concerns and operational issues. This role is based in a manufacturing facility with regular interaction between the production floor and office.
