Job Summary
PRODUCTION MANAGER ON THE PRODUCTION FLOOR: Oversees scheduling and planning of production activities, supervising daily operations on the plant floor, and ensuring alignment of material volumes with customer demands. Responsible for safety, quality, and financial performance, including P&L, while actively engaging with Foremen and Leadmen to optimize schedules, troubleshoot issues, and drive continuous improvement. Strong emphasis on safety culture, open communication, teamwork, and cost-saving initiatives. Requires a college degree or leadership experience, supervisory experience, PCI Level II within two years, and proficiency with MS Office; leadership and problem-solving skills to coordinate across departments and foster an environment focused on efficiency, organization, and employee development. This role is hands-on, with approximately 90% of time spent on the production floor, and involves occasional visits to active plant and field locations. Required Qualifications
- College degree or one (1) year of applicable leadership experience required
- One (1)-Three (3) years of supervisor experience preferred
- PCI Level II within two (2) years of hire
- Experience with MS Office
- Must have interpersonal communication skills
- Ability to supervise, manage, and facilitate others
- Knowledge of the products the company uses and which would work best
- Ability to organize schedules, people, and equipment for maximum production
