Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations to ensure efficiency and quality while developing and implementing production schedules to meet demand and delivery targets. Monitor performance metrics to optimize output and manage staff through mentorship, fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and company policies while collaborating with other departments to streamline processes and resolve production issues. Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives and process improvements to drive operational excellence. This role requires a Bachelor's degree, 5+ years of production management experience, and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a production management or supervisory role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, reducing costs, and ensuring quality standards
- Strong knowledge of lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma methodologies, and other continuous improvement tools
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Proficiency in using ERP/MRP systems and other production planning software
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle) implementation or optimization
- Proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., SQL, Python, R) for production optimization
- Fluency in multiple languages, particularly those relevant to the global supply chain or workforce
