Job Summary
Production Manager oversees manufacturing and warehouse operations across three shifts in a paint and coatings facility, ensuring safety, quality, efficiency, and regulatory compliance. Responsibilities include direct 1:1 leadership across three shifts, adherence to safety standards, OSHA/EPA compliance, analysis of operational needs (inventory, cook sheet, ISO/TS quality), maintaining batch consistency, color quality, viscosity, and process specifications; driving continuous improvement and 5S housekeeping; developing operator and warehouse training; handling Management of Change (MOC), Root Cause Analysis (RCA), and Nonconforming Materials (NCM) corrective actions; monitoring Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE); serving as SAP Subject Matter Expert (SME) for production and inventory transactions; collaborating with Technical, Quality Control, and Supply Chain teams for new product introductions and sustainability initiatives; strong leadership, lean manufacturing, and ERP proficiency; requires a Bachelor’s degree and 5–7 years of progressive leadership in chemical/paint manufacturing; salary range $89,985.14–$149,403.00.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
