Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations for Rotary Furnaces and Deox Casting Line, supervising production supervisors to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality manufacturing. Plan production schedules, adjust plans based on equipment issues and demand, and prepare daily profit and loss reports for each rotary run. Review production, quality, maintenance, and operating reports to resolve issues while using lab data to adjust furnace operations and raw material blends. Verify inventories of raw materials and finished goods, maintain accurate production records, and ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations. Assist with recruiting by interviewing applicants. Full-time on-site role in Cleveland, Ohio, with a salary range of $85,000–$110,000 plus bonus. Requires five years of related experience and ability to work varied hours including on-call rotations.
Required Qualifications
- Associate degree or equivalent and five years related experience; or combination of education and directly related experience
- general knowledge and proficiency in general business and the ability to use computer applications, such as spreadsheets, word processing documents, databases, and email programs
- excellent interpersonal, organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
- the ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations
- Creativity and innovation for implementation of new programs and employee involvement
- Capability of managing multiple projects and deadlines
- Ability to work varied hours be on call and travel occasionally
- Valid driver license
