Job Summary
Production Manager with a focus on leading and optimizing extrusion, coating, or film production processes. Responsible for championing a strong safety culture, managing daily production operations, mentoring a team, and driving process improvements to boost efficiency, reduce waste, and improve product quality. Collaborates with quality control to meet stringent customer specifications, oversees inventory and cost management, and leverages lean/Six Sigma methods to support continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field
- Proven experience in extrusion, coating, or film production processes
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Commitment to safety and continuous improvement
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Proficiency in production planning, inventory management, and quality management systems
- Experience with lean tools, Six Sigma, or other improvement methodologies
