Job Summary
Oversee production scheduling, order fulfillment, and yield optimization while enforcing OSHA safety compliance and maintaining high sanitation standards. Manage personnel training, succession planning, hiring, and disciplinary procedures to uphold efficiency metrics for pounds, cases per man hour, and overtime. Organize operating procedures, ensure accurate system inputs, and maintain communication with supply, logistics, and sales teams. Train an assistant to cover duties during absences. This role supports the overall success of the department at an industry-leading agriculture company in Michigan.
Required Qualifications
- Fresh Foods/CPG Experience
- Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Industry Experience
- 2+ years Operations Experience
- Basic skills in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint
- Leadership qualities (positively affect/influence others/delegate responsibility)
- Excellent verbal, written, and general communication skills
- Possession of key competencies, including conflict management, business negotiation, organization and decision-making
