Job Summary
Production Manager for the Plywood Division in Rutland, VT, responsible for planning production and scheduling among a team, managing the ERP system for the division, maximizing machine up-time and reducing delays in a high-mix manufacturing environment, coordinating schedules, guiding and developing the team, and ensuring safety, quality, delivery, and cost efficiency while driving continuous improvement and aligning with Carris Reels’ values. First shift, full-time, with a compensation range of $70,668–$85,228 annually. Employee ownership, profit sharing, and comprehensive benefits are highlighted benefits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred in business management/finance or engineering
- Five plus years’ management experience in a manufacturing environment with machine operation and assembly processes preferred
- Lean manufacturing experience, Green Belt or Black Belt preferred
- Experience with ERP systems and production planning
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- High level of math and financial analysis skills
- Safety-first mindset
