Job Summary
Lead all day-to-day production activities to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable manufacturing operations at the Tijuana facility. Drive operational excellence by improving productivity, quality, efficiency, and overall equipment effectiveness while ensuring production schedules are executed on time. Develop and mentor production supervisors, manage labor planning and staffing, and champion Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives. Monitor key metrics including scrap, labor efficiency, and downtime, collaborating with Quality, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Finance to optimize plant performance. Lead root cause analysis for operational issues and manage departmental budgets to control manufacturing costs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related field
- 7+ years of progressive manufacturing leadership experience
- Minimum 3 years leading production operations in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Experience managing multiple production supervisors and large hourly workforces
- Strong background in Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S, and problem-solving methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to improve KPIs through data-driven decision making
- Experience working within ERP/MRP systems
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills
- Excellent communication and leadership abilities
- Availability to work in Tijuana, Baja California
