Job Summary
Manage the entire production effort, including pre-production, fabrication, painting, wrapping, labeling, manifesting, shipping, and installation, using construction management techniques. Develop and maintain detailed production schedules, oversee project budgets, and implement quality control measures throughout the process. Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, address issues, and ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards. Coordinate subcontractors, produce cost estimates, and oversee sourcing and purchasing of materials to ensure timely delivery. Maintain detailed project documentation and manage the project closeout process. Requires a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management and minimum 3 years of experience in scenic fabrication.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years of experience in scenic fabrication or a related construction/production environment
- Strong knowledge of construction management principles, including project scheduling, budgeting, and resource allocation
- Proficient in project management software and construction scheduling tools
- Demonstrated ability to manage subcontractors and coordinate complex, multi-phase projects
- Strong leadership qualities with experience leading cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to produce clear project reports and documentation
- Comprehensive understanding of construction materials, methods, and equipment
- Must be able to lift 50lbs
- Must be able to stand 4-8 hour a day
- Must be able to pass a medical evaluation for respirator use
