Job Summary
Lead and manage a team responsible for material processing, loading/unloading, and job staging operations. Plan and coordinate daily production schedules to meet targets while monitoring workflow and productivity. Promote and enforce safety policies, ensuring compliance with all training and procedures. Identify and resolve operational challenges through proactive communication and collaborate with Sales, Logistics, and Purchasing to optimize outcomes. Coach, train, and motivate employees to foster a positive, team-oriented culture. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Monday through Friday, 1st shift, 40 hours weekly with flexible scheduling and overtime availability.
Required Qualifications
- Proven leadership experience in a manufacturing, lumber, or building materials environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to lead and inspire a diverse team
- Working knowledge of production operations, safety standards, and quality control
- Ability to read and interpret measurements and complete basic math problems
- Physical ability to occasionally assist on the floor as needed (handling up to 55 pounds)
- Forklift certification or willingness to complete company certification program
- Highly organized, responsible, and motivated with a hands-on management style
- Commitment to maintaining a positive attitude and promoting teamwork
- Monday – Friday, 1st Shift (Flexible)
- 40hrs/wk
