Job Summary
Direct daily shop-floor operations for high-tonnage injection moulding, automated blow moulding, and secondary assembly sections to hit volume targets and on-time delivery timelines. Maximize machinery, material, and manpower productivity while minimizing scrap and optimizing Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE). Lead root-cause investigations for product rejects using 5-Why and Fishbone methods to implement corrective actions and maintain ISO 9001:2015 compliance. Enforce strict 5S housekeeping standards, safety protocols, and PPE usage across all shifts, managing a large team of supervisors and operators. Monitor raw material consumption and work-in-progress inventory to reduce waste and ensure material availability. Prepare executive production reports and represent the department during internal and customer audits.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Polymer/Plastic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or a related technical discipline
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive, hands-on working experience specifically within a plastic injection moulding and blow moulding manufacturing environment
- Deep familiarity with process troubleshooting, high-speed thermal molding equipment parameters, and robotic or automated assembly lines
- Solid understanding of ISO 9001:2015 standards, GMP requirements, and structured 5S/Lean tools
- Fluency in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin (spoken and written)
- A highly independent, dependable leader comfortable reporting directly to senior executive management
- Highly resourceful with strong problem-solving capabilities
- Ideally available to commence work on short notice
