Job Summary
Lead and supervise the production team to deliver prop fabrication and event fabrication projects on time and within budget. Manage budgets, estimates, vendor relationships, and procurement. Coordinate with warehouse, woodshop, fabric and paint teams; oversee daily work assignments; ensure safety, quality and timely delivery; prepare purchase requests; schedule staff; manage outside labor; support business development with estimates; maintain knowledge of venues, security, and installation/tear down; contribute to design and problem-solving; uphold diversity and inclusion.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree required
- 2+ years of prior relevant experience in prop fabrication, construction, theatrical or event industry required
- Portfolio required; must complete a design test within a specific time frame
