Job Summary
Production Manager at Hazeltine Nursery tasked with overseeing daily maintenance operations and plant production. Responsible for managing field crews, optimizing production schedules, plant quality control, and driving operational efficiency. Requires hands-on horticulture expertise, leadership, and ability to train staff on best practices, equipment operation, and safety. Oversees irrigation, fertilization, pruning, pest management, and safety compliance, with a focus on achieving quality standards and efficient production in a fast-paced, outdoor environment. Required Qualifications
- 3–5+ years of experience in maintenance production, horticulture, agriculture, or related field
- Strong knowledge of plant care, irrigation systems, fertilization, and pest management
- Proven leadership and team management experience
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions in Southwest Florida climate
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required
