Job Summary
Lead day-to-day production operations across multiple production areas, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and operations to ensure on-time delivery, monitor production performance, and implement improvements to increase throughput and reduce waste. Develop, mentor, and motivate production supervisors and staff; coordinate schedules, staffing, and workflow; ensure compliance with quality standards, safety requirements, and company procedures. Drive manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and scale manufacturing capabilities in a highly regulated environment (aerospace/defense/medical device).
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of leadership or supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of manufacturing operations, production scheduling, workflow management, and process improvement
- Experience working within aerospace, defense, medical device, or other highly regulated manufacturing environments preferred
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, engineering documentation, and production plans
- Proven success leading teams, improving productivity, and driving operational performance
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations Management, or a related technical field preferred
