Production Manager

Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations across machining, stamping, and fabrication, ensuring on-time delivery and adherence to quality standards. Lead and develop production staff, coordinate resources, maintain equipment, and drive continuous improvement while collaborating with engineering and senior leadership. Monitor KPIs (output, scrap, downtime, labor utilization), enforce safety policies, manage budgets, and implement processes to reduce costs, improve quality, and increase throughput. Occasional travel for meetings or vendor visits and occasional weekend hours during peak production.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, industrial engineering, operations management, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing/production, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or management role
- Strong leadership and team-building skills
- Solid understanding of production planning, scheduling, and inventory control
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and other continuous improvement tools
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency with production management software (MRP/ERP) and basic office software (e.g., spreadsheets, word processing)
