Job Summary
Manage production lines for trusses, millwork, insulation, doors, and windows to ensure timely, productive, and cost-effective output. Review production orders and schedules to plan department operations, establish priorities, and coordinate manufacturing activities to meet specifications. Direct safe operating practices in compliance with DOT, OSHA, and regulatory policies while inspecting equipment for optimum utilization. Resolve operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to prevent delays, train personnel, and develop standard operational practices. Supervise employees, address grievances, and compile production data to support facility management. Bachelor's degree with 4-5 years in building materials required; occasional travel may be necessary.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree from 4-year college or university
- 4-5 years of directly related experience in the lumber or building materials industry
