Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for organizing and managing production, maintenance, and logistics at the Sparta, TN facility. Leads goals and strategies with corporate leadership, manages equipment, financials and personnel resources, coordinates Production/Maintenance/Logistics departments, drives cost reductions and production efficiency while maintaining product quality, motivates mid-level managers and supervisors, and may undertake special projects outside normal scope; requires a Bachelor’s degree (MBA/advanced coursework preferred) and 5+ years of manufacturing management experience; proficient with ERP systems (SAP preferred) and process-improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Toyota Production System); must be able to travel regularly and operate in a fast-paced, ethical work environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Management or equivalent
- 5+ years of management experience in a manufacturing environment
- Experience with MS Word, MS Outlook, MS Excel
- Experience with process improvement methodologies (Six Sigma, Kaizen, Toyota Production System)
- Experience with ERP software (SAP, Oracle, JD Edwards)
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Willingness to travel regularly
- English proficiency
