Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for planning and coordinating production schedules, evaluating processes to meet goals, communicating department strategies, hiring/training staff, resolving team issues, coordinating with Fabrication and Inventory/Purchasing on parts availability, overseeing new and existing team member training, reviewing prints in SolidWorks, enforcing safety/sanitation, coordinating with other departments, preparing management reports, and working with vendors. Requires leadership experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, familiarity with chassis/hydraulic/electrical/plumbing systems, strong analytical and communication skills, and proficiency with Microsoft Office. Schedule is Monday–Friday, 7 a.m.–4 p.m. with possible travel and adherence to background/drug screening; equal opportunity employer for Federal Signal Corporation.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of experience as Manager in a Production Environment
- Bachelor’s degree is preferred but not required
- Strong Microsoft Office (Word and Excel) skills
- Experience working with Chassis, Hydraulic, Electrical, and/or Plumbing systems preferred
- Background check and drug test required
