Job Summary
Provide day-to-day leadership to production staff, fostering a culture of accountability, safety, and excellence while ensuring full compliance with OSHA and internal safety standards. Lead day-to-day production execution against a master schedule to meet customer demands, maximize efficiency, and implement process improvements to enhance throughput and quality. Oversee preventative maintenance, manage team hiring and training, and monitor KPIs to drive operational improvements and root cause analysis on defects. Requires 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience, strong safety knowledge, and proficiency with ERP systems. Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of production or operations leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Demonstrated success managing teams and improving employee engagement
- Strong knowledge of safety practices, lean manufacturing, production planning, and continuous improvement methods
- Effective communicator with excellent problem-solving, organizational, and conflict resolution skills
- Proficiency with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite
- Bachelor's degree in manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, Operations Management, or equivalent work experience
- Ability to stand and walk on the production floor for extended periods
- Comfortable in a manufacturing environment with noise, heat, and moving machinery
- Use of PPE (e.g., safety glasses, steel-toed shoes)
