Job Summary
Plan, organize, and prioritize production activities to consistently meet output, cost, quality, and service targets while ensuring robust process control and final product quality. Lead and coach production teams, drive recruitment and workforce planning, and promote a strong safety culture by actively participating in EHS initiatives. Identify productivity and efficiency opportunities to drive continuous improvement and operational excellence, contributing to investment decisions and process innovation. Manage shop floor activities, resolve production issues and emergencies effectively, and monitor team performance to drive accountability and development. Ensure operations remain cost-effective and aligned with customer requirements, including lead times and quality standards.
Required Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering (chemical, Mechanical or other relevant area)
- +2 years of experience in production supervisor/manager role
- Very good spoken & written English language capability
- Demonstrated ability to evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes, including process design and development
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in manufacturing, preferably within the chemical or adhesives industry
- Solid knowledge of occupational health, safety, environmental regulations, and local legal requirements
- Practical experience with 5S and Lean Six Sigma principles
- Green Belt certification
