Production Manager

Job Summary
Direct and coordinate end-to-end manufacturing operations to achieve production objectives while meeting cost, quality, and delivery requirements. Manage direct reports including Supervisors and Technicians, review resource and staffing needs, and ensure compliance with production quality and cost objectives. Monitor, analyze, and drive key operational metrics and KPIs, identify area needs for budget and resources, and resolve escalated issues to support plant goals. Follow up on daily shift operations, ensuring proper documentation and communication of incidents and operational impacts. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on productivity, quality, and cost reduction, and implement corrective actions when production performance deviates from the manufacturing plan.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or a related field
- Previous experience in a Production Manager position or a similar leadership role
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven people management and team development experience
- ERP knowledge
- Intermediate Excel skills
- Experience leading large production teams in a manufacturing environment
- Experience tracking and reporting shift events, operational incidents, and production impacts to direct leadership
- Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Continuous Improvement, and problem-solving methodologies
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities
