Job Summary
Production Manager who will lead and develop a high-performing production organization at FlackTek Manufacturing Inc., ensuring safe, efficient, and scalable manufacture of equipment. Responsible for building systems, processes, accountability, and team capability to deliver quality products on time. Partners with Engineering, Supply Chain, Quality, and Operations to drive safety, FPY, schedule adherence, and continuous improvement. Requires experience leading people, managing production operations, implementing ERP/MRP, Lean principles (5S, Kaizen), and maintaining quality records; accountable for safety, metrics, and operational excellence in a 100% onsite Louisville, CO environment.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Engineering, Operations Management, Business, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- 5+ years of progressive production, manufacturing, or operations leadership experience within a discrete manufacturing environment.
- Minimum 3 years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and accountability.
- Demonstrated responsibility for production performance metrics including safety, quality, delivery, productivity, labor utilization, or cost control.
- Experience managing production systems, staffing, scheduling, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Successful candidates must demonstrate prior experience coaching employees, holding team members accountable, addressing performance issues, and building high-performing teams.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and production planning processes.
- Working knowledge of mechanical and electrical assembly operations.
- Experience utilizing quality management systems and structured problem-solving methodologies.
- Strong communication, planning, organizational, and decision-making skills.
- Ability to analyze operational data and translate insights into actions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
