Job Summary
Lead all aspects of 24/7 manufacturing operations and development activities to meet customer and company goals. Plan production flow, troubleshoot issues, handle staff matters, and monitor orders across all shifts to ensure on-time shipment of conforming products. Drive world-class EH&S processes, sustainable manufacturing, and continuous improvement in process, equipment, and staffing. Execute technical skills, risk management, and lean operations while reducing scrap and improving First Pass Yield. Build a dedicated team with open communication and foster a safety culture to achieve an accident-free environment. Maintain technical expertise on plant products and support corporate initiatives through indirect influence with leadership.
Required Qualifications
- HS diploma with an equivalent combination of education and experience
- 8+ years of experience in Production Operations
- 3+ years of experience in Supervisory/Management roles managing large direct and indirect teams
- A proven Leader with the ability to motivate people
- Ability to promote company culture, create a desirable work environment and influence employee retention
- Demonstrated experience with Lean production
- Process Improvement tools
- Kaizen
- LMS
- Safety mentality/oriented
- Able to foster a safety culture
- Basic OSHA knowledge
- Clear understanding of effective manufacturing practices in the areas of safety, quality, cost, productivity, and delivery
