Job Summary
The Production Manager is responsible for leading production operations within an electronics manufacturing environment, ensuring high-quality product delivery and operational excellence through data-driven decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Management, Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent work experience
- 2-4 years of experience as a Production Manager in a contract manufacturing environment for PCBAs
- Ability to analyze data, solve problems, and implement effective solutions
- Strong expertise in Lean Manufacturing, 5S, and Continuous Improvement methodologies
- Proficiency in root cause analysis and problem-solving tools (5 Whys, Fishbone, etc.)
- Proven ability to build and develop high-performing teams through coaching and mentoring
- Ability to drive accountability and performance excellence across production operations
- Experience working in fast-paced, high-mix, low-to-medium volume EMS manufacturing
- Strong communication skills with the ability to effectively engage cross-functional teams
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems in a manufacturing environment
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or other relevant quality standards
- Background in Kaizen events and process improvement initiatives
