Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations to ensure customer service, efficiency, safety, and environmental compliance while translating customer requirements into executable plans. Serve as the primary liaison for clients, coordinating shipping and receiving activities to meet needs without compromising performance. Plan, schedule, and coordinate plant activities, analyze key performance indicators, and present findings during operational meetings. Lead and develop a high-performing team through coaching, mentorship, recruitment, onboarding, and performance evaluations. Collaborate with leadership to enforce policies, solve production problems, and foster a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in industrial or manufacturing operations
- Prior leadership experience in a production or operations role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on continuous improvement
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Highly motivated, results-driven leader with a positive, collaborative approach
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively across teams and with customers
Desired Qualifications
- AS400 experience
- Knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and AS9102
- Experience with ISO 14001 environmental management systems
- Lean Six Sigma or continuous improvement certifications
