Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for day-to-day directing and monitoring of production operations, supervising staff, maintaining production schedules, equipment and inventory maintenance, problem resolution, prioritization, and collaboration with other teams. The role includes overseeing cost management and providing cost estimates for sales, conducting inventories, performing troubleshooting and maintenance, and driving process improvements to ensure high-quality, safe production. Requires strong organization, mechanical aptitude, and experience with industrial woodworking machinery and Microsoft Office; supervision of staff and scheduling are key components of the role.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree highly preferred and a minimum of five (5) years of experience managing personnel
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suites
- Comprehensive working knowledge of industrial wood working machines including table saw, mitre saw, routers, and nailer
- Forklift/reach truck experience
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to create production schedules and oversee production processes to ensure quality and safety
