Job Summary
Lead plant production operations by supervising leadership teams and coordinating activities to meet safety, quality, and performance targets. Ensure alignment of materials, equipment, and staffing to support efficient production flow while driving continuous improvement. Maintain compliance with OSHA requirements and allocate labor to meet operational priorities. Lead production teams by providing direction, driving accountability, and ensuring achievement of targets. Develop workforce capability through coaching leaders, identifying talent, and supporting succession planning. Partner with other departments to support equipment reliability and monitor production metrics to drive decision-making. Promote a safe work environment across all production areas.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- 4+ years of manufacturing experience
- 2+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong operational leadership, communication, and team development skills
- Demonstrated success solving production, process, operational, and staffing challenges
- Experience working in a plant-based or industrial environment
- Experience leading through frontline supervisors and managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency using production metrics and data to drive decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives
- Ability to walk around the facility
- Ability to climb stairs/ladders
- Ability to kneel
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks that require hand-eye coordination
- Ability to lift or carry materials that can vary in weight and size
Desired Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
