Job Summary
Assign repair work to technicians and supervise workflow to complete vehicle repairs within specific target dates. Provide daily supervision and direction to all production staff, dispatching assignments based on ability and holding daily meetings to discuss schedules and create accountability plans. Ensure repairs are completed correctly the first time by monitoring quality, providing day-to-day feedback and coaching to body and paint staff, and maintaining accurate vehicle status information in CCC1. Schedule sublet work timely and adapt to a fast-paced environment while managing multi-tasking demands.
Required Qualifications
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Experience in auto repair industry or managing a team
- Advance understanding and knowledge of the repair process/procedures
- Must have a valid driver's license and be eligible for coverage under company insurance policy
- Effective communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Organization and multi-tasking skills
- Good time management
- Ability to adapt easily to fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand frequently
- Ability to walk frequently
- Ability to use hands and fingers frequently
- Ability to climb, balance, bend, stoop, kneel or crawl occasionally
- Ability to talk or hear continually
- Ability to lift/push weights up to 50 pounds
