Job Summary
Lead daily operations for the Air cooled Heat Exchangers (ACHES) shop by managing staffing, floor coverage, and production scheduling to meet on-time delivery targets. Drive a culture of safety and quality through EHS compliance, safety huddles, and incident investigations while minimizing manufacturing variances to achieve operating expense goals. Implement Lean tools such as 5S, Value Stream Mapping, and Kaizen events to eliminate waste, improve OEE, and optimize line balance through data-driven bottleneck analysis. Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure material availability, conduct root cause investigations for defects, and maintain accurate ERP/MES records. Recruit, onboard, and develop shop team members while coaching supervisors and maintaining skill matrices to support long-term capability development. Rotate through all three Tulsa locations on a full-time, on-site schedule, Monday through Friday.
Required Qualifications
- 5–8+ years in manufacturing operations
- 3+ years leading a production area in fabrication/assembly environments
- Measurable success applying Lean tools and leading improvement events
- Familiarity with fabrication/assembly processes such as sheet metal, welding, machining, and testing
- Strong coaching, communication, conflict resolution, and change management skills
- Proficient with Excel/Sheets and ERP/MES systems (JDE, SAP, Oracle, Epicor)
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations, or related field - or equivalent experience
- Ability to stand, walk, and lift up to 50 lbs
- Primarily first shift with occasional off shift support
- Heightened awareness and adherence to all safety protocols
- Ability to perform duties in a manner that ensures their own safety and the safety of others in the workplace
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt
- Experience implementing TPM and SMED
- Knowledge of ISO 9001, AS9100, or similar QMS
- Experience with EHS programs
- Experience managing a cost center or production budget
