Required Qualifications

• •Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering, Mining, Business or related field
• •2+ years Manager experience in heavy industrial manufacturing environment
• •previous experience as department manager or superintendent for larger facilities
• •industry background in manufacturing related to mining, paper mills, steel plants, refractory, heavy equipment fabrication, stone processing, cement plants, etc.
• •Extensive knowledge and background in operations supply chain business processes
• •continuous manufacturing
• •production processes
• •working contemporary concepts of continuous improvement
• •Lean Manufacturing
• •Fluency in spoken and written English
• •Knowledge of operational management
• •Knowledge of people management skills
• •working in a union environment
• •Experience in mining and/or heavy manufacturing industry
• •Technical credibility as it relates to industry
