Job Summary
Manage end-to-end production for cannabis pre-roll and flower manufacturing, overseeing material inputs, formulation, and packaging while guaranteeing adherence to state regulations. Lead production supervisors, train staff, and optimize machine operations to maintain efficiency and resolve outages. Develop performance KPIs, standardize workflows, and collaborate with sales and cultivation teams to manage lean inventory and production budgets. Implement quality control measures, monitor industry trends, and integrate technologies to drive continuous improvement and cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, business management, or related certifications
- A minimum of 3 -5 years of managerial experience in cannabis product manufacturing or a related industry
- Comprehensive knowledge of product production processes
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements and best practices /standards in product manufacturing
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills
- Proficiency in production management and planning software / tools (e.g. ERP, Google Sheets, Excel, Metric, Distru)
- Experience managing at least a team of 50 (production workers & supervisors)
- Must be able to successfully pass a background check to include criminal history and previous employment
