Job Summary
Oversee daily production operations to meet output targets and quality standards while developing and implementing production schedules and resource allocation strategies. Manage and mentor production staff through performance evaluations and training, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, cost reduction, and continuous improvement. Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality control standards, and company policies while collaborating with supply chain and maintenance to minimize downtime and ensure material availability. Analyze production data and generate reports to track key performance indicators. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in a production leadership role within a manufacturing environment
- Proven track record of improving production efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness
- Strong understanding of Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency in using Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems and production management software
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with Six Sigma or Lean manufacturing methodologies
- Proficiency in using ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle)
- Demonstrated ability to mentor and develop production teams
- Bilingual in Spanish or other relevant languages
