Job Summary
Production Manager role overseeing all manufacturing activities to meet production quantities, delivery goals, and quality standards. Develops and implements manufacturing plans, policies, and programs; leads and grows the production team; ensures compliance with SOPs and regulatory requirements (export/import, ITAR). Responsibilities include monitoring KPI performance, managing tooling and calibration verification, directing scheduling and materials management, coordinating with supervisors and executives, and driving continuous improvement in cost, quality, and customer service. Requires BS degree or equivalent, 7+ years of managerial manufacturing experience, ERP proficiency (Syteline v9+), and specified high-reliability electronic assembly certifications (J-STD-001; IPC-A-610 & IPC-620). Facilities are in a 90,000 sq ft plant in Central Florida near Orlando; environment includes office space, production clean rooms, and ERP-enabled warehouse. The role emphasizes leadership, policy implementation, and collaboration with senior staff to meet organizational objectives and customer requirements in a defense-related manufacturing context.
Required Qualifications
- BS degree or equivalent in a related field
- 7+ years of recent managerial experience in production/manufacturing
- ERP experience, preferably Syteline v9+
- Certification in high reliability electronic assembly processes (J-STD-001) and familiarity with IPC-A-610 & IPC-620
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel focus)
- Knowledge of ERP system flows and cross-functional team coordination
- Ability to analyze problems and communicate issues clearly to management, suppliers, and customers
