Job Summary
Oversee division profitability, product quality, and staff productivity while managing equipment performance and downtime. Analyze production data to implement Statistical Process Control practices and drive continuous process improvements. Serve as the department ambassador by collaborating with the Vice President of Operations, conducting weekly supervisor meetings, and managing performance reviews and disciplinary matters. Direct a team of two to six supervisors through hiring, training, and daily operational planning. Adhere to all corporate safety policies and enforce established procedures. This role supports Blount Fine Foods' mission to bring premium fresh prepared foods to families across America.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- 3-5 years in a manager role in a manufacturing environment
- Microsoft Office skills to include Excel
