Job Summary
Value Stream Manager oversees daily production operations for the assigned value stream, coaching Value Stream Supervisors and the production team to meet production schedules, quality standards, and cost objectives. Collaborates with Quality, Safety, R&D, maintenance and customer service to achieve goals; ensures compliance with safety and quality regulations (lockout tag out, GMP, HACCP, allergen controls) and reviews performance metrics. Leads regular team meetings, drives problem solving with lean manufacturing tools, ensures training of new hires on revised SOPs, coordinates downtime reduction with cross-functional teams, and maintains budgets and production data. Requires 5+ years in manufacturing operations and leadership, strong communication, and a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Five (5+) years’ experience in manufacturing operations and business management
- Five (5+) years’ experience in leadership/management role
- Five (5+) years’ experience utilizing CI, lean systems, tools, programs
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong safety and quality background
- Strong Microsoft Office Suite abilities to complete reports and logs
- Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience
