Job Summary
Production Manager oversees scheduling and planning of production activities on the plant floor, supervises daily operations and production staff, and is accountable for safety, quality, and departmental financial performance (including P&L). The role emphasizes hands-on leadership, coordinating with other managers to plan production, and driving continuous improvement to increase efficiency and cost savings.
Required Qualifications
- College degree or one (1) year of applicable leadership experience required
- One (1)-Three (3) years of supervisor experience preferred
- PCI Level II within two (2) years of hire
- Experience with MS Office
- Interpersonal communication skills to interact with employees
- Ability to supervise, manage, and facilitate others in a positive way
- Knowledge of the products the company uses and which would work best
- Ability to organize schedules, people, and equipment for maximum production
