Job Summary
Production Manager for an Amcor plant overseeing Injection molding and support operations. Responsible for defining objectives, developing short- and long-term plans, supervising Shift Supervisors, coordinating manufacturing activities to meet quality and budget specifications, driving continuous improvement, cost control, safety, and collaboration with Engineering, Tool Shop, Quality, and Manufacturing Engineering to bring new molds and processes online. Requires strong leadership, organizational skills, lean manufacturing knowledge, and experience with budgeting, cost analysis, and ensuring GMP/OSHA compliance. Education includes a 2-year technical degree (or equivalent) with a 4-year degree preferred; minimum 5 years of progressive manufacturing management experience; 3 years injection experience and ISO 9000 familiarity are preferred.
Required Qualifications
- 2-year technical degree (manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering or related) or equivalent experience
- 4-year degree in Business Management or Engineering (mechanical) preferred
- Minimum 5 years progressively responsible management experience in manufacturing
- 3 years injection experience and ISO 9000 experience preferred
- English literacy (reading/writing)
