Job Summary
Plan, coordinate, and monitor production activities to meet project schedules and cost objectives while managing the release of requisitions based on MRP outputs. Coordinate with procurement teams to expedite, amend, or cancel orders and oversee the end-to-end kitting process, including order scheduling and works order release. Monitor production progress, proactively address material or scheduling issues, and ensure adherence to established processes and deadlines for flight store activities and clean room delivery. This role requires a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering and experience in production control, material planning, or manufacturing operations within the aerospace and defence sector.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in production control, material planning, or manufacturing operations
- Strong understanding of MRP systems and production scheduling principles
- Ability to coordinate activities across multiple functions, including procurement and manufacturing
- Excellent organisational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to prioritise workloads and manage competing deadlines
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, or equivalent military experience
- Experience working within a production, manufacturing, or logistics environment
- Knowledge of production planning and inventory management processes
- Clearable
Desired Qualifications
- Experience within aerospace, defence, or other highly regulated industries
- Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP
- Knowledge of clean room, kitting, or stores management processes
- Continuous improvement or lean manufacturing experience
