Production Manager

Monitor and ensure implementation of recommended changes in work methods and equipment usage to improve labor utilization, production efficiency, and department expenses. Lead, train, and supervise the Production staff while overseeing all new hire training and conducting regular departmental instruction. Consult with engineering, sales, and service management to ensure the smooth operation of the plant, and execute company production policies, procedures, and standards. Set, monitor, and ensure standards for production, quality, housekeeping, and safety are met, while creating and adhering to department budgets. Manage hiring, discipline, and employee relations, and follow written and verbal instructions to attend meetings and perform directed tasks. Occasionally visit customers or attend training meetings. This safety-first role within Alsco Uniforms' industrial laundry facility requires standing, walking, and operating a forklift.
