Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for organizing and supervising the Production Department, leading and training staff, overseeing all new hire training, coordinating with engineering, sales and service to ensure smooth plant operation, enforcing production policies and standards, and managing production, quality, housekeeping and safety standards as well as department budgets; requires 2+ years of business management experience in production and strong supervisory skills; High School graduation or similar experience; occasional travel to visit customers or attend trainings.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of two years of business management experience in a production environment with strong supervisory and management skills
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to lead, motivate and develop staff
- Recognize colors, sizes and types of product; count, add and subtract accurately
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English; ability to comprehend and follow direction; good time management; team player
