Job Summary
Production Manager at ALPLA responsible for overseeing daily production, developing production schedules, directing and coordinating manufacturing personnel, and ensuring health and safety standards. Leads data analysis and reporting, supports engineers to keep machines running efficiently, manages overtime to meet goals, conducts trainings, and drives continuous improvement and problem solving on the production floor. Guides recruitment with HR, organizes shift handovers, and enforces procedures to sustain production performance and cost control.
Required Qualifications
- Min 2-year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent, Bachelor Degree preferred
- Technical / Engineering background
- 3 to 5 year's experience in a management position in production, preferably within plastics industry
- Thorough understanding of Health and Safety practices
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong leadership skills
- Technical understanding (Manufacturing and IT)
- Strong knowledge sharing/training skills
