Job Summary
Lead all 2nd shift production operations at the Frito-Lay dedicated facility, supervising supervisors and frontline employees to achieve safety, quality, and productivity goals. Monitor production performance, downtime, and throughput while coordinating with Warehouse, Supply Chain, Maintenance, and Quality teams to ensure uninterrupted output. Enforce GMP, AIB, and customer requirements, driving root cause analysis for production and safety issues. Support Lean manufacturing initiatives, manage temporary labor levels, and maintain accurate production reporting and system data. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred; reports to Plant Manager.
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience leading production teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong knowledge of GMP, food safety, and quality systems
- Proven ability to improve production performance and labor efficiency
- Experience with WMS and manufacturing systems
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work 2nd shift in a manufacturing environment
- Non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment
- Requires standing and walking for extended periods
- Occasional lifting and movement throughout the production floor
- Ability to work flexible hours as needed to support production demands
