Job Summary
Production Manager (2nd Shift) oversees daily production schedules, quality control, and team leadership to meet targets and ensure safe, efficient operations. Responsibilities include planning and organizing production, monitoring workflow and output, adjusting resources to changes in demand, leading hiring, training, and performance evaluations, enforcing quality control procedures, implementing process improvements (lean/manufacturing automation), ensuring safety and regulatory compliance, and reporting production performance to upper management and stakeholders.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing, engineering, business management, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in production or manufacturing, with at least 2 years in a leadership role
- Familiarity with production planning and control processes
- Strong leadership and decision-making abilities
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and organizational skills
- Working Conditions: Standing, bending, and lifting for extended periods; lifting up to 50 pounds; exposure to varying temperatures and warehouse noise
