Job Summary
2nd Shift Production Manager will oversee safety and execution for the inert and energetic production operations of Anduril’s solid rocket motor business line. Responsibilities include coordinating shift handovers with day shift managers, developing subordinate leaders (supervisors/leads/technicians), enforcing policies, maintaining safety standards, leading root cause and corrective action analyses, partnering with Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, Supply Chain, Warehouse, and EH&S, and delivering KPI reporting to senior leadership. The role requires strong leadership in a high-risk manufacturing environment, a focus on safety and ownership, and the ability to adapt to evolving business needs. Eligible to obtain/maintain a U.S. Secret security clearance. The position is onsite at the McHenry, MS facility and involves regular physical demands and hands-on leadership across production operations.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of manufacturing leadership experience
- Experience in high-risk/high-danger professions preferred
- Basic familiarity with DoD 4145 and AS9100
- Mechanical aptitude with hand-tools and industrial adhesives
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office and rapid software adoption
- Experience evaluating data and presenting to senior/executive leaders
- Ability to work in a fast-paced organization with minimal oversight
- High ownership mentality and problem-solving approach
- Physical ability: stair climbing, bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods; capable of lifting at least 40 pounds
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance
