Job Summary
Develop and implement production schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resource utilization. Lead and manage production teams, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence. Monitor and analyze production metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions. Collaborate with supply chain and quality control departments to ensure smooth operations and product quality. Oversee equipment maintenance and upgrades to minimize downtime and maximize productivity. Ensure compliance with industry regulations and safety standards in the production environment. Implement and maintain lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and increase efficiency. Develop and manage production budgets, controlling costs while meeting production targets. Coordinate with other departments to align production goals with overall business objectives. This role is based in Wichita, United States, and requires a 1st shift schedule.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree or 10+ years of experience working in salary roles in a manufacturing environment
- 3+ years of production supervision experience or a related role leading in a team environment
- 5+ years of combined factory experience in Manufacturing (operations), Quality, Engineering, or Production Planning
- Experience leading cross functional teams
- Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a drug screen and background check
- Candidates who have been offered the position must pass both screenings before their start date

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Proven track record of leading and managing production teams effectively
- Strong knowledge of production planning, scheduling, and quality control management
- Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles and their practical application

- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret and act on performance metrics

- In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes, technologies, and industry-specific regulations
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Demonstrated ability to make decisive decisions and drive process improvements
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
