Job Summary
Production Manager responsible for leading the value stream's continuous improvement initiatives in a Vaughan, ON plant. Drives safety, quality, customer service, costs, and associate development; sets and communicates performance targets; develops and implements Lean-based process improvements aligned with the manufacturing strategic plan; ensures resources and cross-functional collaboration; maintains high morale and engagement; participates in budgeting and supplier negotiations; promotes hands-on problem solving and Gemba walks to deliver value-stream results.
Required Qualifications
- A university degree or college diploma
- A Lean Six Sigma certification is an asset
- Experience in the building materials industry is an asset
- 3 - 5 years of supervisory or leadership experience
- Knowledge of Lean, Safety, Quality, Manufacturing
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities
